COMAH warehousing facilities in Droitwich, Worcestershire

Bowker’s Droitwich distribution centre specialises in the storage and distribution of chemicals and hazardous products. Located on a secure, rural complex with 30,000 m2 (322000 ft2) of warehousing, the distribution centre currently handles a wide range of flammable, toxic, corrosive materials such as paint and agricultural chemicals.

Specialised facilities include bunded storage, temperature controlled warehousing, protected and enclosed zones. Services include, order picking, packaging and re-packaging, decanting and ISO container discharging and packing. As with all Bowker's sites, the facility is supported by industry leading technology.

Droitwich is an upper tier COMAH site, operates to BASIS regulations and holds ISO 9001 quality accreditation. The Group’s own fleet of vehicles operates locally and nationally, carrying out multi-drop and time sensitive deliveries.

HVO Fuel

As part of our commitment to sustainability, our Droitwich distribution center is using HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) fuel for our fleet and equipment. HVO fuel serves as a fossil-free substitute for diesel, derived from organic waste or residues like vegetable oils and fats.

HVO is similar to diesel in its chemical composition, which means that HVO acts as a seamless replacement, requiring no modifications to our vehicles or equipment. This shift to fossil-free fuel is poised to dramatically reduce our carbon footprint, slashing greenhouse gas emissions by an estimated 90%. This trial further emphasises Bowker’s commitment to striving to a more sustainable logistics sector, as we continue to be at the forefront of change.

We can store all sorts of chemicals, paints, resins, aerosols & more. There are however restrictions on quantity for certain kinds of hazardous you can keep under 1 site. To find out more contact enquiries@bowkergroup.co.uk.

We require a fully UK compliant Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), this show's us the type of hazardous the goods are, and the storage requirements. Our COMAH specialists will be able to decide our best storage offering based of this document.
