Our Preston Distribution Centre, situated in Bamber Bridge, consists of 10,000 pallet positions and is home to a large versatile transport fleet which provides next-day delivery throughout the UK.

The site comprises of lower tier COMAH warehousing designed to store hazardous chemicals, paints, agrochemicals, aerosols and more. The operation is managed by industry experts, fully trained to handle dangerous materials. The operation is fully equipped with the very latest racking, handling equipment and stock management technology.

We run ADR vehicles all around the UK & our Preston distribution centre is also a founding member of Hazchem, the UK’s only ADR pallet Network. The Network is made up of 60 members which include the leading independent names in UK chemical transport. Our membership contributes for our hazardous consignments to be distributed across the UK with maximum efficiency.

Our Preston Distribution Centre is 100% powered by renewable energy, with the fleet including fully electric rigids and Aero vehicles. Customers are also able to view & track CO2 emissions associated to Bowker's warehousing and transport activities undertaken on their behalf (assisting with scope 3 emission reporting) all of which is available on the customer's web portal.
