Our Hull distribution centre is home to our international fleet & operations, strategically located close to Northern ports. The facility also possesses warehousing with up to 10,000 pallet locations, specialising in pharmaceuticals & food grade storage solutions.

Bowker have an in house DGSA team, who are on hand to supply DGNs on our customer's behalf.

Bowker's UK team can look after our clients customs clearances, whether that is UK export document or EU import document. We also work closely with partners on the EU side who can look after any EU clearances efficiently.

Our Heritage

Bowker first expanded into Europe in 1961, transporting carpet machinery from Blackburn to Hildesheim, Holland. This was before the advent of roll-on/roll-off ferries, meaning the vehicle had to be lifted onto a ship in Folkestone, sailed to Calais, and then lifted off for onward delivery. This milestone marked the beginning of significant growth throughout the 1960s, ultimately leading to the opening of our Hull site and a location in Zeebrugge during the 1970s to manage the cross seas transport.
