Here are the steps the Company has taken and continue to take to understand and minimise the potential risk of modern slavery in its business and supply chains. This statement is published in line with section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Our commitment to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015

The Company is committed to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the abolition of modern slavery and human trafficking. As an equal opportunities’ employer, the Company is committed to creating and ensuring a non-discriminatory and respectful working environment for our staff. The Company wants all its staff to feel confident that they can expose wrongdoing without any risk to themselves. The Company’s recruitment and people management processes are designed to ensure that all prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the UK and to safeguard employees from any abuse or coercion. The Company does not enter into business with any organisation, in the UK or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.

Our supply chain

Due to the nature of our business, the Company assess itself as having a low risk of modern slavery in its business and its supply chain. The Company considers its supply chain to be at a low risk in relation to modern slavery and human trafficking, due to the nature of the business and the sectors within which it operates. The Company only works with competent, recognised partners.

The Company follows the UK Government’s guidance and ensure that the consideration of the modern slavery risks and prevention are included in its policy review process. The Company has a robust recruitment procedure which include Eligibility to work in the UK checks and references checks. It encourages its employees to raise any concerns they may have without fear of reprisal; the Company has an open-door policy and awareness posters are displayed in communal area at all sites. The Company has a zero tolerance policy towards modern slavery.
