Responsible for North Yorkshire territory for the Hazchem Network

As well as dedicated ADR transport services, Bowker are also founding members and the largest inputter into The Hazchem Network, the only pallet network dedicated to chemicals. Bowker’s membership allows for hazardous consignments to be distributed throughout the UK with maximum efficiency.

Bowker’s Selby Distribution Centre are responsible for Hazchem’s YO postcodes, large parts of North Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.

At Bowker, we have two warehousing facilities across North Yorkshire - Ripon and Selby. Our warehousing facilities include a 25,000 pallet strong AA BRCGS (BRC) distribution centre in Selby & a 20,000m² COMAH distribution centre in Ripon.

In total across the UK, we offer over 1.5 million ft2 of racked and block storage managed by highly trained operators supported by industry-leading IT Systems.

Yes we have a distribution centre in Thorne, Doncaster which is AA BRCGS (BRC) accredited. Additionally we have a MHRA & AA BRCGS (BRC) accredited site in Hull, which is also home to our international transport team and fleet.

Our fleet of vehicles are equipped with the latest satellite technology which allows us to keep track of vehicle activity, which customers can view using the customer portal.

We have 240 vehicles & 5oo trailers across the fleet.
